Alex Hall is a seasoned HR leader with 15+ years of experience based in Boston, MA. His expertise spans workforce planning, performance and talent management, compensation design, succession planning, and HR operations.

Before launching Valinor Talent Solutions, Alex served as Vice President and Sr. Director of Talent Acceleration at Liberty Mutual Insurance, where he led global talent programs and a 30-person team. Over nearly 12 years, he held roles across international HR, selection & assessment, executive succession, learning, and strategy. He also brings deep experience in AI policy, talent analytics, DEI, and strategic planning.

Alex holds an MBA from Northeastern University (Corporate Finance), an MS in Human Resources from Western Carolina University, a BS in Business Administration from Appalachian State University, and a certificate in I/O Psychology from The Chicago School. He serves on the advisory board for WCU’s HR graduate program and frequently consults on succession, compensation, and HR strategy and a Board member for the Friday Night Supper Program in Boston.

Lauren Tajnai is a versatile HR leader with 7+ years of experience spanning global HR operations, learning & development, performance management, compensation, and talent strategy.

Most recently, she served as Head of Global Learning & Talent Operations at Liberty Mutual Insurance, where she led a team delivering key programs across onboarding, e-learning, performance, tuition reimbursement, and HR support—enhancing the employee experience at scale. She also brings deep experience in vendor management, communications, and change management.

Lauren founded her own consulting firm, Rooted Talent Consulting, and holds dual bachelor’s degrees in Management & Leadership and Marketing from Miami University (OH). Outside of work, she enjoys reading, baking, and traveling with her husband and two young kids.
