I started Valinor Talent Solutions with a simple but powerful belief: when businesses treat people the right way, they get better results.

My journey into HR began more than 20 years ago in college, when I picked up the book Nickel and Dimed. One story in particular stuck with me—a woman was being mistreated at work and had no safe way to speak up. Taking action would have meant losing her job and her health insurance. That moment lit a fire in me. I wanted to be the person who made sure employees like her had someone in their corner, and I found my calling in HR.

Over the years, I built my career in a Fortune 100 company, where I saw firsthand how strong people practices drive growth, innovation, and performance. But I also saw how often smaller businesses don’t have access to the same playbooks, tools, and guidance. That’s why I launched Valinor Talent—so I could take that knowledge and translate it into practical, no-fluff solutions that help business owners and leaders succeed while building workplaces where people can thrive.

The name Valinor comes from J. R. R. Tolkien’s mythology—a place of peace and light. To me, it represents what great workplaces can be. People are complex, but my role is to help make the “people side” of business easier, clearer, and more effective. When businesses and employees find that balance, the focus shifts to what matters most: doing great work and achieving results together.
